At Little Eyes, we strive to meet all of your child’s eye and vision care needs. Corrective lens evaluations and prescription management are provided by our optometry team. After a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, the doctors will discuss the variety of contact lens options with you to select the type that best fits your child’s vision needs and lifestyle. If your child suffers from dry eye, allergies, or recurring eye infections, speak with our staff to determine whether contact lenses are right for them.

When your child is fit with contact lenses at Little Eyes, the eye doctors will discuss with you the best strategy for your child’s eyes. That may be daily disposable soft lenses, multifocal soft lenses to help slow down the nearsighted progression, or true “Myopia Control” lenses, known as Ortho-K, to stop the progression. Not every option makes sense for every patient, so Dr. Schuetz and Dr. Wilson will measure the surface of your child’s eye in specific ways to determine which option is best based on the shape, health, and prescription of your child’s eyes. Our staff will also teach your child the proper techniques and lens handling habits to keep their eyes healthy and seeing great with the lenses. That may take several tries for your child to master, but our patient and caring staff will work with your child to make sure they succeed with contact lenses!
